therapists who are AAMFT clinical members the opportunity to study for
“AAMFT approved supervisor” status. Our supervision course, a 30 hour
program of seminar study is taught by FIW’s senior faculty, all of whom are
AAMFT-approved supervisors. This is the only didactic course you will need
to apply for the AAMFT approved supervisor designation.
FIW faculty members are also available to provide “supervision of supervision”
hours, thus allowing you to complete both of the requisite portions of study for
approved supervisor designation with Family Institute.
