Karen Fleming-Sherman

Karen Fleming-Sherman, R.N., M.S.N., conducts her private practice in the Armonk-Bedford area
and in White Plains.  For a number of years she taught undergraduate nursing students at the
College of Mt.  Saint Vincent's and graduate nursing students at New York University and the
College of New Rochelle.  She lectures and conducts workshops in local hospitals and community
agencies on the impact of chronic illness and life threatening illnesses on family functioning, two
areas of particular interest.  She has also lectured on gender issues, couple issues, and family
therapy coaching and has expertise in group therapy.  In addition to her general family therapy
practice Karen works with couples who are experiencing infertility issues and with adoptive
families.
