Managing Affairs in Couples Therapy

A clinical challenge for every therapist is the management of extra-marital affairs in therapy.
In recent years this ubiquitous marital triangle has been exacerbated by the proliferation of internet pornography and cybersex, which create even greater complexities.
We will look at clinical cases and learn a four-stage approach to the healing of marriages in the aftermath of affairs, with particular emphasis on viewing affairs as opportunities for marital revival and transformation.
